Mobile marketing; the hottest topic for 2008
During the Mobile World Congress, Mobile Marketing was rated as a Red Hot topic for this upcoming year. A survey made to find out “What`s hot and what`s not” were completed by delegates at the recent congress in Barcelona. The survey was made by one point Mobile Survey and tested out on 100 senior executives from global firms working in the mobile and wireless industry. The survey was done using the latest communication tool of choice - the mobile phone. The findings are clear and they positively reveal that mobile marketing is rated as the hottest topic for 2008. Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) reaches new heights
The Mobile Marketing Association has reached new heights in their number of memberships. The total global memberships includes now close to 600 member companies. In other words, the rate of memberships has had a growth of more than 350 percent over the last two years. Their membership base is representing some of the largest brands in the world. "The MMA and its members have spent the last few years laying a solid foundation for growth and we look forward to making 2008 the year for mobile marketing globally” said Laura Marriott, president of the MMA. | Boost and Scoreradar launch the new Live Soccer WAP Multicast service |
Boost, together with Scoreradar.com, recently launched the new Live Soccer WAP Multicast service. Here the supporters will get full coverage from every soccer game in 11 of the biggest leagues and major tournaments in Europe, everything live and delicately presented via a user friendly WAP interface.
The service is fully automated, it supports several languages, and can be designed to suit any layout /brand.
The service is relevant for all media windows that want to offer live sport coverage on their mobile internet portals, and maybe especially for media houses and mobile operators.

| Boost launches MMS2FB (MMS to Facebook) |
At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Boost launched a new service that allows Facebook users to send their MMS pictures straight into the picture gallery on their Facebook profile. The service was initially launched in Norway, and will also be launched in Sweden, Denmark and UK in the next coming weeks.

| Boost strengthens its Mobile Internet Team |
Boost is happy to announce that from February 1st Mr Anders Sletbak Nilsen joined the company as WAP Art Director (AD). He will work with design and project management for customers on the Boost WAP CMS platform, and will also be part of the support team.
Mr Sletbak Nilsen will work out of the Trondheim office.
