Altibox is a major Norwegian provider of fiber optical broadband services like interactive TV, high speed internet, free phone calls and various mobile services.
Boost has for several years provided a range of mobile services for Altibox, including the hosting of their mobile portal and a wide range of SMS services.
Recently Altibox launched a new mobile service that allows their TV customers to control their PVR (personal video recorder) directly from their mobile phone. This makes it very convenient to record any TV-program by a few single clicks on your mobile phone. The system is enabled for mobile internet users, and also automatically detects the user via MSISDN lookup as you enter into the portal.
