The company was estabilshed in 2000, and has its origin from NTNU (The Norwegian University of Technology and Science).
The head quarter is located in Trondheim, Norway, with satelite offices in Oslo, London and Dubai.
In 2004 Boost established a US subsidiary, mSnap Inc. In 2005 the company attracted American investors, and Boost is now only a minor share holder in mSnap. The company is currently the largest SMS Ad-network in the US.
In 2006 Boost decided to spin off a new company, Boostcom CRM Shopping, to solely work with the more than 50 shopping centres in the Nordics and the UK that were on our client list. As of January 2008 Boostcom CRM Shopping has expanded to work with more than 75 shopping centres.
Boost Communications is owned by the employees, the SIM Fund and Byggteknikk AS.
